WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MASSAGE?

Massage and bodywork can...

  • Help release chronic muscular tension and pain

  • Increase joint flexibility

  • Reduce mental and physical fatigue 

  • Promote faster healing of injured muscular tissue

  • Reduce blood pressure, thus reducing stress

Massage and bodywork are also known to promote better sleep, improve concentration, reduce anxiety & create an over sense of well-being.

HOW LONG OF A SESSION DO I NEED?

Honestly, it depends on your reason for the visit.

  • 60 Minutes = Ideal for relaxation or for spending time on a specific area without receiving a full body. (i.e. back, neck, and shoulders)

  • 90 Minutes = Great for spending more time on focus areas but being able to receive a full body massage

  • 120 Minutes = This is the suggested length for taller more muscular clients, clients that use their body for a living or for clients that have not had a massage in a long time.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET A MASSAGE?

At least monthly but the therapeutic effects of massage are cumulative. So the more often you get a massage, the better you will feel and the more quickly your body will respond.

  • Monthly to maintain

  • Bi-weekly/Weekly for chronic pain until the tension is released and then switch to monthly

DO I HAVE TO TAKE OFF ALL MY CLOTHES?

Take it all off...or don't!

You can take off as much clothing as you want. Keep in mind that you will be covered underneath the sheet for the entire session unless it's the area I'm working on. So if I'm working on your right leg, then only that leg will be revealed and everything else will be under the sheet. My goal is to keep you as modest as possible.

If you prefer to not undress at all, wear comfortable clothing that your therapist can work with. 

DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?

We do offer gift cards with the option of purchasing a gift card for a dollar amount or buying the exact service. Keep in mind that the service amount does not include gratuity. Click here to purchase.

DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

There is a cancellation policy in place. We respectfully ask that you provide us with a 24 hour notice of any schedule changes or cancellation requests. Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing a notice we are often unable to fill that appointment time. This is an inconvenience to your therapist and also means our other clients miss the chance to receive services they need. For this reason, you will be charged 50% of the service fee for the first missed/rescheduled session and 100% of the service fee for each session after that. You will be charged when you come in for your next session.
